STABLETHERM RANGE
Adhesives which use standard technology are susceptible to oxidation, leading to polymer cross linking, increased viscosity and finally gelling and charring. Stabletherm has exceptional thermal stability with less than 1.5% change in viscosity over 28 days at 160C. This means they are rated for a pot life of 500 hrs.
Stabletherm is the most trouble-free packaging adhesive available. Its superior ability to resist viscosity change eliminates gelling, skinning and nozzle blocking char particles, which cause machine stoppages. This means less downtime and reduced maintenance expense.
Stabletherm is virtually odour free and does not fume, so the distinctive smell associated with hot melt adhesives will no longer be noticeable on the production line. Because the ingredients of Stabletherm are so pure and non volatile there is no risk of taint to typical absorbent food products like chocolate, cream and bakery goods.
Stabletherm is qualified for food and medical packaging and meets required FDA status.
Stabletherm has clean machining characteristics which enable it to run at optimum speeds on both slow and fast machinery without stringing, in both hot and cold conditions. Stabletherms unique balance of low viscosity, long open time and fast setting speed mean that one grade can be ideal on different machines across the plant, making it easier and cheaper to manage adhesive stocks and control usage.
Stabletherm shows excellent adhesion and maintains bond integrity over a wide range of temperatures from -40C to +90C. It protects your products and prevents pop open in the harshest environmental extremes
